Botho Ke Bontle Healthcare Services is an established, GCP-compliant clinical research organisation headquartered in Waltloo, Pretoria, trusted by some of the world's foremost pharmaceutical companies.

Our Story

Founded on the belief that humanity is kindness.

Our name, Botho Ke Bontle, means "humanity is kindness." It is more than a phrase. It is the ethical foundation of everything we do.

B2KB's research journey began in Mamelodi, one of Pretoria's largest and most underserved communities, with a deliberate commitment to bringing clinical research access to populations that have historically been excluded from the benefits of pharmaceutical innovation.

Since research operations commenced in 2014, we have grown from a community-based site into a recognised multi-sponsor clinical research centre. Each year has built on a consistent foundation of regulatory compliance and sponsor trust, expanding our physical infrastructure, therapeutic-area capabilities, and sponsor network.

Today we operate a purpose-built research facility equipped to conduct Phase 1–4 clinical trials, partnered with major international sponsors and cleared through regulatory inspections and sponsor audits alike.

Dr. Salphy Mokgadi Mogashoa

Dr. Mogashoa is a South African medical doctor with over two decades of clinical and research experience. She graduated with her MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2002, following a B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Aviation Medicine.

Her investigator career commenced in 2007 at Global Clinical Trials, Pretoria, where she served as both Sub-Investigator and Principal Investigator before founding B2KB's research operations in 2014. Under her leadership, B2KB has executed trials for Pfizer, Moderna, Novo Nordisk, BioNTech, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, Seqirus, Bellus Health and others.

Mr. Oupa Ephraim Radise

B.Iuris · PG Dip. Labour Law · GIBS Global Executive Leadership Development

Mr. Radise brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience from the South African Post Office, Eskom, and Transnet Capital Projects, where he served as National Employee Relations Manager and General Manager: Human Resources.

A graduate of the University of Limpopo (B.Iuris), the University of Johannesburg (PG Diploma, Labour Law), and GIBS, Mr. Radise oversees the governance, HR, and operational infrastructure of B2KB, ensuring the organisation operates with the institutional maturity expected by international sponsors and hospital partners alike.

Our History & Regulatory Standing

A consistent record of compliance

Since 2014, B2KB has built on a foundation of regulatory compliance and sponsor trust, reflected in a clean history of inspections and audits.

Ongoing standard: All studies are conducted under ICH-GCP E6(R3), SAHPRA regulations, and sponsor SOPs. Protocols are reviewed and approved by a NHREC-registered South African Research Ethics Committee.

All key site personnel maintain current Good Clinical Practice certification, and a structured training programme ensures new staff complete GCP and protocol-specific training before study participation.
